Cubolac contains seven different serotypes of Clostridium spp. to immunize against enterotoxemia and tissue infections caused by enterotoxins and histotoxins.
Optimal combination of antigens
In polyvalent clostridial vaccines, the relative quantity of each antigen is crucial to ensure protection against all pathogens. Cubolac has the right concentration of different Clostridium spp. bacteria and toxoids to trigger an optimal immune response.
Widely tested
1 in 100 cows in the world have been vaccinated with Cubolac. In total, nearly 1 billion cows have been immunized with this vaccine globally.
Cubolac protects against eleven types of clostridial infections
Pulpy kidney
Carbuncular fever
Sudden onset enterotoxemia
Lamb dysentery
Calf dysentery
Hemorrhagic enteritis
Yellow lamb disease
Malignant edema (gas gangrene)
Blackleg
Infectious necrotic hepatitis (black disease)
Big head (swollen head)
Manufactured by leading
producers of clostridial vaccines
Cubolac is manufactured using the best clostridial process, ensuring it is extremely pure and high quality, in line with European GMP regulations. The manufacturer, CZ Vaccines, is the leading producer of clostridium vaccines in Europe.
Benefits
of vaccinating with Cubolac
01
Controls outbreaks and lowers mortality rate
Protects against 7 different serotypes of Clostridium.
02
Very safe
Low rate of adverse reactions.
03
Highly stable
It remains effective for 36 months before it expires.
04
Maximum protection
Each dose contains the minimum amount of protein antigens required for optimal protection. The antigens are highly purified and concentrated thanks to ultrafiltration.
05
Best selection of antigens
The antigens in Cubolac have been selected based on geographic and epidemiological data to avoid using irrelevant antigens that could interfere with the immune response.
06
Easy to administer
Can be administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly with the same level of safety.
07
Strong, lightweight packaging:
The flexible plastic bottle prevents breakage and doesn’t require ventilated extraction equipment.
Vaccination schedule
Primary vaccination
2 doses no more than 4 weeks apart:
During breeding season
gestating females should be administered the vaccine 15 days before calving to ensure passive protection of their offspring against enterotoxemia.
In young animals
From non-vaccinated mothers: first dose at 2 weeks.
From vaccinated mothers: first dose not before 10–12 weeks.
Booster
One booster dose every 6 to 12 months.
